What is CBD?

CBD, or cannabidiol, is a chemical that’s extracted from the leaves and flowers of the cannabis plant. Cannabis itself is an illegal class B drug, as is the compound THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) which it contains. But pure CBD isn’t illegal, as it doesn’t cause the intoxicating effects of cannabis.

How do i use CBD?

We offer a full range of easy
to use CBD products. All our oils can be taken orally, with the best option to be placed underneath your tongue and left for 30-40 seconds.

Our topical products can be applied locally to the area required, and our edible gummies can be enjoyed by chewing!

The dosage of CBD depends on personal preferences.

Is CBD legal?

Yes, and before you ask, No,
it will not get you high!

Our CBD products contain 0%
THC, the compound that has the ‘high’ this effect in humans. When THC is removed, the CBD oil is called ‘Broad Spectrum CBD’

What is Broad Spectrum CBD?

Broad spectrum CBD is when all compounds found within the plant are preserved in the extract maintaining its full benefits, however, the THC is removed.

Why remove THC from CBD Oil?

Both CBD and THC are cannabinoids, but only one (THC) has psychoactive properties – where you can get ‘high’.

You’ll be pleased to know, we extract THC from our products. CBD alone, is non-psychoactive, so you can benefit from its suggested health benefits, whilst being assured that you’re not going to get any
surprising side-effects

Im regularly drug tested at work, does this matter?

You are safe! All of our products are 0% THC. All products are initially tested at our UK
laboratory, and then tested again by an independent party to ensure the highest quality and to ensure there is absolutely no THC. We want to be completely
transparent, so you can gain access to our certifications at any time, just email us and we can issue a copy to you.

You can read the UK Anti-Doping Agency’s views on CBD here. You can read WADA’s thoughts here, where Cannabinoid is not listed as a banned substance.

Why do we perfrom secondary 'third party' lab tests?

By verifying the cannabinoid content in our products, we can ensure the quality remains consistent. By being independently lab tested it means we are under strict standards of quality. If we say there is 7000mg of CBD in a product – we can actually prove it.

What strength of CBD do i need?

We have carefully crafted 5 strengths of standard CBD oils to help support a range of wellbeing concerns, and lifestyles.

The 5 strengths range from: 500mg, 1000mg, 3000mg, 5000mg, 7000mg, and 145000mg.

We recommend people who are new to CBD start with a smaller dosage (500mg or 1000mg). This dosage can be scaled up to a higher dose if/when required. There is no correlation between negative impacts and taking higher doses from the outset, but it can be best to test what strength is required to produce the best outcome for your body as CBD affects everyone differently.

How does CBD work?

We all have something called an endocannabinoid system (ECS) in our bodies. It is one of the most essential systems we have, responsible for establishing and
maintaining our overall health.

The ECS responds to Cannabinoids, by binding them to receptors found throughout the body and brain

To promote the correct physiological function of the nervous, immune, muscular system, and more.

Scientists know most about two cannabinoid receptors in the body;

cannabinoid-receptor 1 and cannabinoid receptor 2 – known as CB1 & CB2.

What are CB1 and CB2 receptors

The CB1 receptor mediates most of the psychoactive effects of cannabinoids, whereas the CB2 receptor is principally involved in anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive actions.

Can i take CBD with other medications?

Always consult your doctor before taking any nutritional supplements, including CBD products, any supplement has the potential to interact with prescription drugs or medical treatments, however it is highly unlikely
